What is ARB™ technology?

ARB™ (Androgen Receptor Blocker) is Adegen's proprietary fatty-acid complex that blocks DHT at the hair follicle, locally, without altering your body's hormone levels. It pairs with DermalDrive™ delivery and CryoSafe™ no-heat compounding.

What is the difference between A5 and A15?

The number is the minoxidil concentration in our ARB™ Topical formulas. A5 is 5% minoxidil; A15 is 15%, three times the strength. A5 suits early thinning or anyone starting out; A15 suits heavier thinning or 5% non-responders.

What is a DHT blocker and do I need one?

DHT is the hormone responsible for pattern hair loss, and a DHT blocker reduces its effect on the follicle. Finasteride and dutasteride are the two most common. Whether you need one depends on your stage of loss, pattern, medical history, and goals.

What is the difference between finasteride and dutasteride?

Both are DHT blockers. Finasteride inhibits one form of 5-alpha reductase and cuts serum DHT by roughly 70%; dutasteride inhibits both forms and cuts it by roughly 90%. Dutasteride is more potent; finasteride has a longer track record.

What is Oral Minoxidil and how is it different from topical?

Oral Minoxidil is a low-dose pill (Adegen prescribes 2.5mg) working systemically through the bloodstream; topical works where you apply it. Oral can suit those who don't tolerate topical, have diffuse thinning, or didn't respond to it.

What is Oral Dutasteride / Finasteride?

Oral Dutasteride and Oral Finasteride are prescription pills that reduce DHT, the hormone driving pattern hair loss. Finasteride cuts serum DHT by ~70%; dutasteride by ~90%. Both come through the Adegen telehealth flow at low daily doses.

What is Oral Tadalafil and why does Adegen offer it?

Oral Tadalafil 5mg is a low-dose daily medication that improves blood flow throughout the body. Adegen offers it to counter DHT-blocker side-effect concerns and for its evidence supporting cardiovascular and cognitive health.

What is ARB™ Shampoo+?

ARB™ Shampoo+ is Adegen's active-ingredient shampoo, built to deliver ARB™ actives to the scalp while you cleanse. It's Step 1 of the 3-step protocol, pairs with the Scalp Exfoliation Brush, and comes as a one-time buy or subscription.

How do I use the Exfoliation Brush?

Use the Scalp Exfoliation Brush during shampooing: wet hair, apply ARB™ Shampoo+ to the scalp, then work the brush in slow circular motions for 5–10 minutes before rinsing. It's part of Step 1, and most people use it every wash.

How do I use the Microderm Scalp Roller?

Use the Microderm Scalp Roller a few sessions per week: roll gently over thinning areas of a clean, dry scalp for 1–2 minutes before your ARB™ Topical. It creates microscopic channels that boost blood flow and topical penetration.

What is the ARB™ Complete Regrowth Kit?

The Complete Regrowth Kit is Adegen's core offer. It bundles the 3-step protocol into one shipment (ARB™ Topical, ARB™ Shampoo+, Microderm Scalp Roller, and two Scalp Exfoliation Brushes) with $95 in free accessories. Every customer starts here.

Are Adegen products vegan, cruelty-free, or safe for my situation?

ARB™ Shampoo+ is not tested on animals, and its full ingredient list is on the product page. Topicals are prescription-compounded, so actives vary by variant.

Can I buy a replacement sprayer pump or extra accessory?

Replacement sprayer pumps for the ARB™ Topical are available on request, so message support with your order number. Extra Exfoliation Brushes and Microderm Scalp Rollers can be purchased anytime from the accessories section of the site.

What is CryoSafe™ technology?

CryoSafe™ is Adegen's proprietary no-heat compounding process. Because heat degrades sensitive actives, CryoSafe™ dissolves every ingredient without heat, so what reaches your scalp keeps its original strength and purity.

What is DermalDrive™ delivery?

DermalDrive™ is Adegen's delivery system, the part of the formula that carries active ingredients past your skin's surface to the hair follicle. Great actives only help if they reach the follicle, and DermalDrive™ gets them there.

How is Adegen different from other hair loss treatments?

Most hair loss products boost blood flow or lower whole-body DHT, and most stop at the active ingredients. Adegen combines ARB™ (DHT blocked at the follicle), a delivery and compounding system, and a complete 3-step system.

Can I buy one-time, without a prescription or subscription?

Three products are available one-time with no prescription: ARB Shampoo+, the Scalp Exfoliation Brush, and the Microderm Scalp Roller.

What is a compounded medication and why is mine made this way?

A compounded medication is prepared for you individually by a licensed pharmacy, based on your physician's prescription, rather than mass-produced. Adegen topicals are compounded so multiple actives can be combined at precise strengths.
