When Adegen relaunched as a telehealth platform, every ARB Topical became a prescription-strength product made in our own US-based pharmacy. A prescription requires a licensed physician review before it ships, so subscriptions that included a topical or a kit could not carry over and were cancelled in the move. You will not be billed for them again. Shampoo-only subscriptions carried over unchanged. To bring your plan back, take the free HairIQ assessment, check out, complete a short medical intake, and a physician reviews it free, usually within 24 hours.
What changed and why
The relaunch moved the entire topical lineup behind a physician review. Several of the actives in the new formulas are prescription-only, which is also what unlocks the options the old lineup could not offer: 15% micronized minoxidil, finasteride or dutasteride in the topical itself, and oral treatment options.
An automatic transfer of your old subscription would have skipped the physician review, and that is not something a pharmacy can legally do. So the honest version is: it is a fresh setup, one time, and then your plan runs on the new platform.
Which subscriptions were affected
Cancelled in the move (no further billing):
- Any subscription that included an ARB Topical
- Any kit subscription that included a topical
Carried over unchanged:
- Shampoo-only subscriptions

What it costs now

Do I have to buy the whole kit again?
No. If you still have your roller and brushes, you only need the topical (and shampoo if you want it). The tools were always one-time purchases and they are yours.
