The problem with DHT blockers in my opinion is blocking DHT is a huge problem and why there are so many negative side effects with DHT blockers like finasteride.
Not only that but they are not effective at stopping hair loss, they may slow it down a little, but to effectively stop hair loss by taking a DHT blocker you would have to take a dramatically higher dose and the side effects of lowering DHT to that level would make hair loss the least of your problems.
There is an important study that shows castrated males do not experience hair loss because they do not have testosterone or DHT, but again that is not a very effective solution and to have success stopping hair loss by taking DHT blocker that is essentially what you would be doing.
